Alco Screen is a rapid, highly sensitive method to detect the presence of alcohol in saliva and provide an approximation of relative blood alcohol level. It is well established that the concentration of alcohol in saliva is very close to that of the blood, making saliva the preferred specimen for alcohol testing. This allows for greater detection sensitivity than the breathalyzer testing method. Alco Screen is a very simple, one-step test requiring no instrumentation, calibration or special training to be used effectively. It only takes 2 minutes to administer and is convenient enough to be used any time, any place.

Instructions:
Do Not place anything in mouth for 15 minutes prior to taking test.

  1. Saturate pad end of stick with saliva (from mouth or cup).
  2. After complete saturation of pad remove stick from mouth and read at the end of 2 minutes.
  3. Compare reactive pad to color blocks on the individual test package.
Interpretation:

Negative - No color change on reactive pad
Positive - Reactive pad changes color in 2 minutes
